Post-Op
After running around a total of eleven restaurant reviews, I have arrived to a conclusion to what, to my personal criteria, are the most remarkable, and the not so remarkable places to which I have gone through this semester. With this, we can see with more context which restaurants are definitely deserving of a visit no matter what, and which ones can actually be saved for a (very) rainy day.
The must goes:
Along the best restaurants I could go, Rodeo Goat could probably be the most memorable one. This Ice House counted with a new, exciting concept as an icehouse, making burgers that included pepperoni on their patties, pesto in their condiments and a playful, whimsical menu that flaunted a “surprise” on any order of fries (which we didn’t get, since the menu warned it was just if we were hungry and we weren’t extremely hungry). This, along with an outrageously varied selection of local beer, an easy going, casual and almost comical ambience and a service that would be on spot, Rodeo Goat takes the top, at least in this blog.
Honorable Mentions:
Café Express, due to the fact that I couldn’t expand on the menu. Nevertheless, the place seems promising.
FnG Eats, just around the corner and provides a very light, yet upscale experience with great food and great beer.
Zaguan, just because the food was such a nostalgic and spot on interpretation of home, this place can’t be ignored.
The biggest flops on this blog could probably be all the three pizza places I attended, since none actually gave me a proper pizza that I could call “my regular”, I am still in a desperate quest to find THE pizza place.
Thank you all for reading this blog and please be on the look for more entries!!
